Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in the community. It is a chance to make a difference in the lives of those who do not have a voice. It is our duty to care for those who cannot care for themselves.

Volunteers are the bloodlines that hold this rescue together. Without them, we would not be able to effectively care for and restore each and every horse back to its best. Volunteers are important in working with the animals, ensuring their needs are met and in making the horses able to return to society as helpful and important parts of society.

Whether it is a 12-year old girl who loves a horse and cares for it with her whole heart, or an active trail rider who needs a companion to travel through the paths and trails.

Each and every horse is meant to live a happy, healthy and fulfilled life. With your help, we can make that dream a reality.

If you are interested in volunteering, you can click on the Volunteer Application button to fill out an application.

** Please note -- Volunteering at Epona Horse Rescue consists primarily of assisting with barn chores with very little handling of horses, outside of grooming and leading between barn and pasture.**
